While Gazing at the Night Sky, I Mysteriously Came Upon a Radiant Angel Gleefully Dancing Among the Clouds

I love to rhyme, therefor, I write poetry and if my muse is awake I love to write short stories. My name is Ruby. I am a retired RN.

Gleefully Dancing Among The Clouds

Gleefully Dancing Among The Clouds

The Night Sky Is Alive With Visual Imagines That Appear In The Clouds

While gazing at the sky in hopeful anticipation, I saw an angel in the mist

She smiled sweetly then threw me a kiss

I held it tightly as she danced from one cloud to the next

My eye's watching the heavenly scene became completely fixed

She danced while angels sang a song of heavenly bliss

I was mesmerized, my tears began to flow, asking how I a mere mortal could visualize a scene like this?

I wondered why she was dancing for me?

She heard my thought's and whispered softly, "You looked up and wished to see

a rainbow, an image in the floating cloud, or perhaps God who lives beyond the heavenly clouds

or perhaps a loved one not covered in sorrowful shrouds, but happily dancing and laughing out loud"

I watched her dance joyfully until she disappeared

I knew I saw something special and it brought happy tears

I now plan on going out every evening, hoping to see my dancing angel again

How lucky am I to connect with my heavenly friend.

Hello Nell. Why was I not surprised to find that you also see many objects in the sky? when one is spiritual the mind can take us to places not seen by everyone. I am not talking about religion. We both feel the same about that. I will never forget the trip you took us on. England will never be the same. lol So good to see you and thank you.

Ruby, this is lovely, so poetically envisioned, and full of joy. I can relate, having witnessed a few angels myself searching the heavens.

Oscar Jones from Monroeville, Alabama on April 12, 2019:

Yes, I have had experiences of seeing divine images in the clouds. in Fact the word of God declares in the endtime's we would see signs in the heavens.. what more wonderful a canvas for God to show us his wonders than the skies, the clouds, the heavens? a quote from psalms,"The heavens declare the works of God, the heavens and all that therein is."
