When Two People Become One

Terrie is a mother and her love of writing poetry, music, and quotes have led her back, to explore more of her creative side.

Many plans were made and life delayed

Lovers arrange for their big day

The groom must stay away

His bride cannot come play

Thoughts run wild,

While they walk down the Isle

Two will become one

Being single is done

Vows reach deep into the heart

Thier lives are about to start

Now two have become one

Shiny gold rings

Symbolize so many things

Remember to have fun

Friends, family, and faith

This day is done

Life is about the long run

When two become one

In sickness and in health

Their love is the wealth

Loving life and laughter

From here ever after

When two become one

Thank you, Dora and Larry. Yes remembering and looking back help to see what we have and had, that marriage is worth it. I wouldn't want a life without my other half.

Love the poem, Terrie. I guess it is those feelings that have kept my wife and I together for 47 years.
