When Is the Right Time to Say?

Updated on November 18, 2018

She said I don’t want to bring you down
So I’ll tell you life’s good, I’m feelin’ fine
Somewhere in her life she will be found
By someone who has plenty of time

Is there a man walking the shore she can’t see
Is it too much to ask for another to confide
Would he listen to her underneath a palm tree
The ocean keeps secrets in the roar of its tide

She doesn’t want so much
Kindness is free
She’s tired of feeling blame
God doesn’t test everyone the same

She wanted to know how to start over
Only young people can make mistakes
The next storm might never recover

When is the right time to say
The Lord didn’t hear me today?
When is the right time to say
I only need someone to pray?

She doesn’t want so much
Kindness is free
She’s tired of feeling blame
God doesn’t test everyone the same

Hi Kulsum. I wrote this while I was thinking about you. It struck me when you mentioned saying everything was fine when the opposite is true. It's a shame we cannot open up and find comfort when needed. Prayer is always available though as God is there for everyone at anytime. You are very selfless in praying for the world to heal and come together as we all dream. I believe you mean it. Yes, may God bring a cure for all ailments... this is not a prayer for riches or glory; only to be able to live a normal life, experiencing the beauty of our world without pain.

Yes Mark, prayer has immense powers if we put our heart and soul in it when praying, for ourselves or for our near and dear ones. I pray for world peace and food and happiness for all ..... There is so much strife everywhere. and when disease pounces upon someone, our near and dear one; it is a time so tough on oneself. May God bring a cure for all ailments .....
