Love Me Forever-When I Am Old-Poem & Quotes
Nithya Venkat enjoys writing about nature and different aspects of life in the form of poetic verses.
Old age is when we need all the love and support from our near and dear.
Old age is when the body starts dictating our every move. The bones ache, and the pain makes the world seem bleak.
Life is a song and dance when we are young, but we need unconditional love, support, and care as we grow old.
Expressing my thoughts in this poem-
Love Me Forever Always-When I Am Old
When I am old and gray
And can’t see properly
When I need support to stand
And a steady hand
To guide and be with me always
When I can no longer hold a spoon
And as I eat, I drip and drool
When I no longer
Have many friends around
When I no longer
Can hear clear sounds
When I’m no longer
A beautiful sight to see
When I can no longer
Be healthy and free
When I can no longer
Go for walks outside
When I can no longer
Do things just right
When all this happens
And I am old and gray
There is only one thing
I want and need
Is your tender loving care
And your support
Love me forever
Always
Even when I am old
