When Angels Die

I have been writing poetry, fiction and short stories for many years and have completed a book of poems. I also enjoy comedy writing.

When Angels Die

When Angels Die

Tears of fallen angels litter the dust
As the battle of good vs evil penetrates the heavens to the Earth crust
a deafening scream of death as their essence vanquish
Like a child with a unfulfilled wish
trumpets sound and Lucifer laughs
as scores of angels hearts beat for the last
the clouds mourn and the sun shy's away
as angels one by one disappears the day
But where is God, why are angels falling
Who is to strengthen them when their screams calling?

I will pick up my arms and fight along side the winged
I will strike with all my might and let Lucifer cringe
My heart is soaked with the pain of the good
A massacre the light bearer wish he could
I look up and i see my brothers with swords of light
Dashing through the air defending what is right
But many have died to help preserve the essence of man
Something us humans may never understand
But the earth is saddened by their loss
As we remember also the man who had died on the cross
But this heavenly war must come to rest
As good must conquer evil, faith will handle the rest.
