Whatever You Want (lyrics)

Our sacrifices
Are made for the highest good.
It feels like I'm no longer alive.

I feel like my life,
Is only gonna get worse.
I feel like I'm gonna die.
I'm not fully awake.

Whatever you want,
Whatever you need,
No matter where you choose to go,
Please take me!

No matter where you choose to go,
I will follow right along.
I will fight by your side,
Take you where you wanna go.
Take me,
Take my heart,
And never give it back.

I feel like my life,
Is only gonna get worse.
I feel like I'm gonna die.
I'm not fully awake.

Whatever you want,
Whatever you need,
No matter where choose to go,
Please take me!

Take me...
(Whatever you want)
Wherever you need...
(Whatever you need)
Go to the places no one ever knows...
Take me.

Thank you so much! These lyrics mean a lot to me, as the woman who I loved as a soul mate, Christina, committed suicide back in September, 2010. She was only 22 years old, as was I. I never worked up the courage to ask her out. She was a great humanitarian, working for Anti-Slavery International during her time in London, and was the valedictorian of our class, Class of '06. This song came to me in a dream, and Christina was singing it to me with the voice of an angel, and with a beautiful melody. I wrote the lyrics down as soon as I woke up. This is the result. :-)

Thanks again for your kind words, and I'm sorry to hear about your lyrics being stolen. :-(

Your work is really good and heartfelt. thanks for sharing. I've written many song poems over the years and had several of them stolen. At least two of them are very well known popular country songs. They are now owned by the top corporation in the music business. All they had to do back in the 60's and 70's was change a few words and it was no longer your work.

Back then all my work was in physical note books which have sense been lost.
