What If We Are Created Perfect?: A Rhyme with Food for Thought
Val enjoys writing his own style of what resembles poetry, just hoping to catch someone's heart on the same page.
Perfection of character is this: to live each day as if it were your last, without frenzy, without apathy, without pretense.
-- Marcus Aurelius
What if we are perfect creators of all our crap
including every disharmony that's deep inside
with all of our health issues and every mishap
with reasons why we ever suffered and cried.
We are incredibly powerful at messing it all
while foolish enough to blame it on the others
seeing external reasons for each and every fall
not realizing that it's something in us that bothers.
With that same power destructive and crazy
we could start creating harmony and joy
only if our minds were not so lazy
to remove what may annoy.
It's our inner job, and reality just obliges to serve
while we are thinking it's all the other way around
not seeing how each of us gets what we deserve
yes, we just reap what we planted in that ground.
When we complain we get more of the same
and it's also true when our joy breeds success
excuses of "imperfection" are nothing but lame
along with "victimhood" from self-inflicted stress.
Try to picture a perfectly tuned violin in your mind
in hands of someone who never learned to play
think of the mankind as "orchestra" of that kind
so how could any "music" be possible that way.
