Goodbye To Jack Rocks

Most all little girls and even some boys
Enjoyed playing Jack Rocks along with their toys
On the floor, a porch or sidewalk they were seated
Each player longing to be undefeated
During school recess and even the park
Jax would be played until it was dark
As time moved on into changing decades
Children's love for Jack Rocks has faded
Computers games, laptops, tablets, Iphones
Cause children today to prefer being alone
If only I had one more chance
To play Jack Rocks and take a stance
Returning to my childhood days
When it was fun to run and play
I've searched the Internet high and low
I've disappointed in every store where I go
Can't find Jax Rocks anywhere
I guess today no one really cares
