I have been writing poetry, fiction and short stories for many years and have completed a book of poems. I also enjoy comedy writing.
What does death feel like really?
Is it seeing that bright light at the end of the tunnel?
Is it your soul being suck from your flesh like water through a funnel?
What do you feel when you die?
Are you aware of your hapless flesh? Does the spirit cry?
Does the grim reaper cut your soul to pieces with his scythe?
Have you ever heard stories of people who died and come alive?
Do you believe?
Is death like a sudden sharp pain which just pounds you hard once and then takes you away?
Or does it stay and linger your pain like a bad storm that day?
I am curious, what does death feel like?
Are you curious too?
Let’s find out, I will take my own life and you then follow suit
Don’t lie, death knows the truth
I wonder, is death a little tickle?
Is it as gentle as the soothing rain?
Or barely any pain.
Maybe just a little
Is death an angel or is it demonic
Is death evil or its goodness platonic?
I wonder, will death bite, cut scratch or sting?
Maybe none at all, if you had begged forgiveness of your sins
Death, what are you?
Where are you from?
Sit down, talk to me and let me understand.

That Frank! I’m not too curious to have that conversation with death if you know what I mean. I have seen death visit others enough that I don’t think it’s a tickle.
