Wet Tear Drops
Time has flown year after year,
With thoughts of you held so dear.
Pictures displayed upon my wall,
Can make a memorial ten foot tall.
Smiles from everlasting fun,
Happy memories, not just one,
Collections drifting in my head,
Bring me joyful tears instead.
Sadness leaps to far deep spaces,
See no glimpse or haunting traces.
Warm sweet sunshine builds a home,
With precious images all their own.
Memories slide down your cheek,
They make a pond beneath your feet,
They sneak away as they try to hide,
These wet tear drops that we have cried.
