The Soul of America Rejoices: Monday's Inspiration 18, to Dream On

Manatita is an esteemed author living in London, UK. He writes spiritual books, flash fiction and esoteric poetry, his favourite genre.

Quote from Sri Chinmoy

"O Dignity-Majesty-Divinity-Reality-flooded Soul of American Liberty! These are the good, better, best qualities of the real America, the America which is to raise the consciousness of the world, and why I came here. This is the America I envisioned in India. “Beautiful” — the real Beauty of the Absolute Supreme, universal Beauty of the Supreme, America the country embodies." -Sri Chinmoy

Founding Fathers

Wisdom of Sri Chinmoy

"America's evolving spirit, being the essence of her national Self, is bound to transcend its present limits and soar to the heights of spiritual oneness. In the works of her advanced thinkers there are already indications of her mental growth towards the summit of her evolution, a summit which will manifest the successful spiritual transformation of her life and thought.

She may well be the first to respond to the call of God, to the unique task of self-transmutation into the consciousness of the Soul. If in a post-war world she has been a great helper, what role will be hers in the world of tomorrow, when God's Voice will be heard through all human lips?" -Sri Chinmoy

The Soul of America Rejoices

A twilight evening, a new dawn beckons;

Hope blossoms in the Heart of man.

The soul of America rejoices,

As freedom suddenly sings its melody.

The Tao of dauntless courage,

Heralds yet another promising sunrise.

Rejoice, O my soul! Victory to the hour of God.

The minstrels dance from heaven;

As sweet trumpets sound with gusto.

The joyful tears of the Heart fill the skies.

Into a river of copious Love,

The Spirit of the Founding Fathers,

Floats on the crest of silvery wings,

Kissing the Light of the moon, in peerless bliss.

Crimson Sun

We Hug Tightly in The Silence of The Morn and Become One

The crimson sun rinses the sky;

Dark clouds disappear like shadows,

Whose rivers suddenly run dry.

Dawn peeps through an indigo blue,

As hope blossoms in the marigolds and sunflowers.

Beneath the moon where we encounter,

I kiss her cheeks, and her breath trembles softly.

The zephyrs dance beneath my window,

Cooling the burning flames of bodies entwined,

As eternity stands still.

Her smile lights up my soul;

We hear the sweet chants of cockatiels

And canaries, singing their sweet psalms of freedom.

We hug tightly in the silence of the morn and become one.

Floating on The Elysian lap of Happiness

Flooding my core with Your beauty,

You became the essence of my being;

Now I am empty; have become completely Yours.

I weep copiously and my joy unbounded,

Flies into the vastness of the firmament,

Touching the Hearts of lovers of longing.

You transformed the fetters of my imprisonment;

Now In Silence, I drift from Bliss to Bliss.

Aye, I have become a lover of Love,

Enraptured by the many fragrances in my Soul!

Come! Sweet Majesty! My breath stands still like death,

Yet I am so alive!

Floating on the Elysian lap of happiness;

Conversing in Silence with my Queen.

Indeed, my Brother, Indeed.

America's Spirit is already grounded by the great Pioneers and dauntless heroes who came before, who are coming and will continue to keep coming. We just need to remember... it just needs to take root. Only a matter of time. Thank you so much for your contribution here, Ralph.

Ralph Schwartz from Idaho Falls, Idaho on November 15, 2017:

Very nice - I especially love it how no politics were mentioned! All we need to do now, is to live up to those forgotten ideals which made America such a magnet of hope for everyone worldwide.

manatita44 (author) from london on November 14, 2017:

We hope, Chris, we hope. The Seer saw it that way.

But you and I may wait a while. Still, it is a beautiful and necessary dream.

Dream on is a wonderful man.

Chris Mills from Traverse City, MI on November 14, 2017:

I have not met Dream On, but it seems like the time is right. Love the words here about America. Could it ever be so? Bless you, Manatita.

Ah, my Dear. My Guruji lived there for 43 years and 53 years later, his mission continues. Have you read my 'A Glimpse Into Sri Chinmoy's Vision of America? It's here in two parts. (Prose) Have a great oneis day!

Linda Lum from Washington State, USA on November 13, 2017:

Manatita - I loved this article. America has always been my home. I've traveled a bit, but am always happy to return. I recognize that "we" are always on the world stage, that our every word or gesture is analyzed. I hope that we succeed more than we fail.

This nation began with a concept, that our rights are not given to us by a king or any member of royalty, no prime minister or dictator. They are endowed to us by our Creator. That was a revolutionary (figuratively and literally) concept.

I know that we have our flaws, but I still believe this is the best place on earth to live. Thank you for such a beautiful vision of what we can be.

Thanks Bill. Appreciated.

Bill Holland from Olympia, WA on November 13, 2017:

I just stopped in to say hello to Dream On. We've been friends for quite a few years now, so this dedication warms the cockles of my heart.
