Up, Above It All

Terrie is a mother and her love of writing poetry, music, and quotes have led her back, to explore more of her creative side.

Above the Clouds

Watching out the window.

Life goes by, what a show.

Prepare for take off, ready, go.

Bumping down the runway.

It's time to fly away.

Wheels disappear into the wings.

As I watch out the window, looking for things.

Up, Up we go, above the clouds.

I no longer see the ground.

Flying free from life's bounds.

Five times faster then a car.

Taking me near and far.

It's as close as I've come,

to living limitlessly.

If I could afford it,

I'd do it endlessly.

When I am in the sky,

I feel like a bird.

Not just another nerd.

Fly high into the sky.

I never ask why.

You can see moisture on the window.

You can see moisture on the window.

Up Above It all

Up in the sky, above it all.

The moisture is intense.

Water spots the window glass.

Up above it all, come aboard, follow me.

This wonderful world is ours to see.

Above it all, I like to be.

You never know what you will see.

The sky above calls out to me.

On my way, my family.

See you soon, maybe by noon.

Fly away with me.

Up above it all.

I can see land. I will be there soon.

I can see land. I will be there soon.

Thank you, Dora. It's always good to hear from you. This was a trip I just took. I always get a window seat. I love to fly. Nice of you to stop by.

I like the poem. It takes the fear our of flying, making it adventure: "As I watch out the window, looking for things. . . This wonderful world is ours to see." Makes one feel like a child curious to discover. Very good job!

Thank you, I love flying. But the airport is another story. All the upgrades and changes. I checkout the maps and still have issues. But my disire to travel is stronger than my dislike for airports. Thank you for reading.

Nice poem and stunning photos. I like to fly but don't like the airport or going to and from them. Well done, Terrie Lynn.
