unmoving-moment

That moment in which you remained still, immobile, with your gaze lost in nothingness.
Naked your body.
The legs hugged, the curve of the back accentuated.
Covered by long hair, which in a cascade of curls covered your delicate shoulders.
I'm watching you.
Time seems to have stopped its flow.
An unreal staticness permeates the room.
Only your body moved by soft breaths shows some semblance of life.
Yet I can smell your perfume.
I can still feel the warmth of your body in my hands. This moment seems to be the calm before the storm, but instead it is the conclusion.
