Touch-Starved: A Poem
I'm an amateur writer, and I enjoy sharing my tips and steps with you guys.
Touch-Starved
She doesn't get touched by many people
they see her as unapproachable
untouchable
and that's far from what she is
she craves touch, she craves just a gentle hug
but no one will touch her
it has become a problem, a problem she doesn't want to bring up
she thinks it ridiculous
to be so desperate, for just one touch
but he sees the longing
he knows what she needs
so he curls up beside her, and doesn't move.

A poem with wonderful imagery of love and understanding

Tia,
It is a real problem. Wanting one hug..one touch.
Others seem to think it represents being needy but i think the human touch is what one really needs.
It connects us.
