Tomorrow, Poem by Laura Grace

TOMORROW by Laura Grace

Tomorrow

I shall tend to my garden

I wish to be happy

And forget my sorrows

Next to my flowering Camelias

That are calling my name

With their sweet perfume.

Tomorrow

I wish to feel the sun on my skin

The breeze caressing my hair

From underneath, as I reach down

To pull out the weeds

I will hear the birds singing in my ears

Their cheerful sound

Will fill my mind

And leave no room for it to be sad.

Tomorrow

I wish to be happy

I shall rise bright and early

Leave my nightmares behind

And rush to my garden,

It has been longing for me

To come back to the scene

Of beautiful trees

And colorful blossoms

Tomorrow

I shall see, how happy I can be.
