Tis the Season Christmas Poem

I have been writing poetry, fiction and short stories for many years and have completed a book of poems. I also enjoy comedy writing.

'Tis The Season

'Tis The Season

Snowy white Christmas is here

Tis the season almost everywhere

Snowflakes fall and coats and sweaters are plenty

Store owners smile as shoppers makes their shelves empty

Christmas trees and surprise kisses under Mistletoes

A celebration of the Birth of a King, the joyous celebration shows

Little kids making snowballs and just having fun

A time when the coldness takes over the sun

Young couples hold hands as the males become vocal

And get down on their knees and commit their proposal

Families from afar come together for that one time togetherness

Eating, drinking and spreading cheer and being blessed

Carol singers outside singing our favorite Christmas songs

Such a special time when kindness is abundant could never be wrong

Millions of toys given to children in need

Giving hands making a beautiful outreach

Santa clause costumes decorate the corridors and the streets

At this special time, there is no tricks, just treats

Snow men form as children use carrots as noses

and wrap him with pieces of their fathers clothes

Radio stations count down, on the first day of Christmas, one two and three

So many things my true love said to me

Office Parties flow as workers enjoy the floor

Yet anticipating on the pay check just a little more

Merry Christmas’s are the most spoken words this season

Bah humbug has gone out of style for good reason

Greetings are sent to family members who live flights away

Wishers of Merry Christmas and Happy Holiday

'Tis the Season

The Season of Seasons

The holiday of holidays

Merry Christmas to you my friend, and blessing always.
