This Stranger Called Love
We crossed paths time after time,
Still, I could not wrap my mind around the sign,
With all the wonders of this life, nothing was so divine,
I could be blind, while your light shined, yet our lives would not align,
I would call to you from the tallest mountain,
Diving in the deepest part of the ocean would seem like a fountain,
To know you would be my lifelong journey makes living certain,
My heart stays alive, not knowing the truth about why,
Wherever I step in this world has to make more sense than the word goodbye,
Because my heart is my only eye,
I will find you again, hold your hand, and know your name,
Time will freeze to frame the love I would never see again,
Love would be on our plane, a love only we could attain.
