Author:

CHATRA RAM is a poet who has experience of writing poems on festivals, besides, he has written many poems on nature.

Introduction to Rakshabandhan

The festival of Raksha Bandhan is celebrated on the full moon day of Shravan month. This festival is celebrated with great enthusiasm all over India. On this day, the sisters tie a Rakhi on the wrist of their brother's hand and seek blessings from them and pray for their brother's long life.

So keeping this festival in mind, I have also added a video song to this poem which explains the poem in its entirety. This video is mainly in the Hindi language.

This is the Festival of Rakshabandhan

Haven't brought any gifts
Just brought a thread
Brought a thread of love
I did not forget, so I brought a rakhi...

Brought many desires with me
I have brought such a desire from my brother and sister-in-law
I have not brought anything
Just got a thread of love...

Miss you so much mom
So I came to my house
This is the festival of Rakshabandhan, so I have come
I brought nothing but a thread of love...

Miss that childhood friend
With whom he played sports
I used to miss them every day, my eyes
Rakshabandhan festival has come My all my friends...
