There Is No Reason

we are surrounded by amazing events

well rehearsed scripts

come from coast to coast

and sometimes stop us in our tracks

tragedy is a motivator for some

and news is the stage

from which to direct

individual directors

puny and childish

would choose you or a multitude

of anyone out of convenience

under the splendor of a silent night
