The Time I Recalled Love

Yasmeen is an amateur writer, poet, and photographer, with an interest in discussing social issues.

It all seems to be a falsity

Long obscurity;

Within the narrow walls of oblivion

No end inside

A hideous waiting on the abyss

I was left with bitterness

as sad as the grand world

And as I’m waiting for the last decay

I recalled love;

Old times

A way to heal our fears

At the end

The eyes are shutting

A pale horizon surrounding

I was high to fly

But in the moment of a strangling recall

I took a step forward

I lost myself

I faded
