The Leaves Are on Fire - a Poetic Tribute to the Beauty of Autumn

I see barren trees,

Haunting under the moon,

Shedding their leaves,

Creaking during the noon,

As the sun changes from yellow to orange,

And the wind flows along with the chills,

Autumn on its way to plunge,

I can feel the silence and its stills,

The leaves turn yellow,

And fall to cover the ground,

A sight soothing the eyes,

Pleasing with a mellow sound,

From far away it seems,

As if the leaves are on fire,

In delight ending their lives,

To welcome the autumn, marching to fulfill all its desires.
