The last world

Placed in a sea of peril and no peace to float on,

Face to face with a menace, that's when I knew, I would not see dawn,

Rose from the water, and I jumped in,

Pushed back as I looked in the eyes of my twin,

Saw the end as the battle started to begin,

Never was the dark allowed to spread its shade,

My kindness for weakness was an unfair trade,

As the tide rolled over, the sun peaked from behind the clouds,

That's when I vowed, Then ripped my shroud,

Tonight we will live, and make plans to do so, friend or foe,

Force the light of a rainbow, and give life what we owe,

This is what we know.
