The World Has Gone Gobbledygook
I have been writing poetry, fiction and short stories for many years and have completed a book of poems. I also enjoy comedy writing.
All this technical talk yet there is no meaning
All I hear is hurting people screaming
All this promise of justice and peace
All I hear is a messy deception bell ringing in my hears
Startling mad, racist and greedy
The world is now dried of goodness and overrun by illiteracy
Look at them stuck on their social media pages while drugs apply
Outing their faith in the evil one as little children’s soul suck dry
“911 what’s your emergency?
“A little black child may be walking past me.”
“That sounds quite dangerous Mam, I will send the army.”
“Hurry please, I feel threatened and the little boy is looking this way.”
“I am armed, should I taze him, shoot him and let him permanently go away.”
“Do what you must, you are white and afraid.”
“GO AWAY! STAY AWAY! I warn you I will shoot!”
She screamed at the boy who was startled and scared
Wondering what the hell was happening to him this day
He ran off and shouted for help as she fired shots
Hitting him all over his little head and back
Now the little black boy is dead and the law says justice served
The gang-banger they label him got what he deserved.
As the dove flow away his sweet innocent soul
His mother cried, sad, broken in a Gobbledygook world.
