Introduction

They say you must plan your life.

Every New Year that comes to greet me I am ready with hope and aspirations. Goals laid out.

My life has shown me my fate is about serendipitous moments where my life lies at the hands of another. Can you imagine what the long-term effects this can have upon a person?

You can feel you are blown from side to side to due happenstance and individuals who seem to own their own life. Choosing at a whim to penetrate and turn your lifeboat upside down without a negotiatory discussion if that is something you desire or want.

This is a poem about a moment in time when the Warhorse rages against the imposed force of another.

The Warhorse of Force

a boastful gait

hides a now mangy spirit

flexible feelings of pride

forms sheets of protection

against ill-fated patterns

some experience

freckles of ostentiousness

even when the warhorse

lays prostrate

and falsely lax

the rooms of the house

forms a cocktail shaker

of mixed spirits

seeking a vertical abseil

aching in earnest

for experiences of fluidity

freedom and continuation

beyond the fetid pools

of scurrility

If I could bring myself

to invent and soak up

the water and the bread

the laughter filled buckets

would be given the green signal

can I alter

a wasteful barren outlook?

so that

the tables turn

letting me saunter

with a little swagger

just for a moment in time

Is it worth a try?

or must I accept what is?

I am the creative force in my life

Yes and right now it would be nice to step back and rest, leaving it to someone else, Gypsy Rose. Do you feel like that too?

No one else but me to take charge of my life. Upwards and onwards always.

Well said, sister Threekeys, I THINK I understand your question really is "am I the decision maker for my life" to which I answer "yes."

Every individual being is the force within ourselves man call god, we are not the flesh [body] we have been named, usually by parents, to become. Intern, that is what/who we are that has predestined and controlled our minds causing us to believe our bodies have choices independent of our life-force. In the light of eternity, that is but a short duration that will only lasts as long as we are in "a physical manifestation" where duality and judging exists.

I still had to use the dictionary but I managed, I believe, to grasp your meaning. LOL

      Aloha
