The Voice of Human Kindness

There is a voice each to hold inside,

A true compassion that all may feel,

When tragedy strikes any fellow man,

All do understand, is felt, and so real.

Wet tears may well up in their eyes,

Best heartfelt thoughts in every mind,

True caring shows a love has grown,

As hand in hand, its message to bind.

When a child is hurt or needs our help,

All caring souls to be the first in a line.

The honored truth holds each as alike,

Of those most precious babes, in kind.

The loss of a home, a loved one's death,

Each cruel matter, as there's no one left.

Human sharing and a strong desire to aid,

This held inside and shown in life's parade.

A voice of human kindness, we hold dear,

Put there by the hands of God, us to hear.

As one must embrace sisters and brothers,

At risk, our Father's heartbreak, no others.

That's a lovely poem. There is a lot of human kindness in this world, but I wish everyone was kind.
