The Unknown World

Author:

This poem wants me to learn what this world is hiding like the beauty and the people around me. I want to see and listen!

the-unknown-world

You hear men out but you don’t hear us out,

You hear them out but you don’t hear me out,

Lure men into the water, Laugh us away, Run them down, drown me in hell.

I hear the wind blow around my head, the lights going brighter each time I blink, noises becoming loud in my ears! All around me is darkness, I’m surrounded by nothing except the silence.

Children laughing in a circle, grownups talking silently to each other, teens messing in the world.

We will never understand the world like the world itself.

...We are unknown...
