I'm a writer, a poet, a dreamer. Born and raised in New York City. I now live in Daytona Beach, Florida with my wonderful cat Sid.
There is so much wonder,
in the world we live in.
Days that might bring sorrow,
will end in a better tomorrow.
Nature can refresh our souls,
make a brighter day,
season after season,
with much beauty to behold.
At night when we count our blessings,
we can smile upon the day that has been,
for we know that tomorrow –
the sun will come shining again.
If the rain might find us,
let’s dance in it with joy
and keep searching for rainbow bridges –
across the skies.
When love finds us,
the days seem to linger,
with shared dreams and kisses.
Love can bring us much bliss,
a world shared only by two.
Even though no one is promised a tomorrow,
love makes us forget all sorrow,
looking eagerly toward another morn,
making it seem that life and love goes on and on.
Lovers walk hand in hand,
oblivious to others,
they share their laughter and their tears,
holding on tight when there are any fears.
Love makes it seem,
the world will forever be turning –
the embers of love forever burning.

Thank you, Bill. Lucky you. When my life was different I would go through my days with those rose colored glasses.

Beautiful. It made me think of my wife and I. We are just out here in our own little world.
The "cadence" here is just so easy it helps me melt into the poetry.
