The Story of Emily
Every now and then, she goes on her knees Taking a look back, she reminisces Wishing to see the treasure she never had As she tearfully calls out on her dad
Every now and then, she goes on her knees
Taking a look back, she reminisces
Wishing to see the treasure she never had
As she tearfully calls out on her dad
This is a story of my friend, Emily
Who grew up in the hands of no family
Everything started falling apart
When fate played its part
She never knew what it meant to feel warm
In the arms of a caring mum
She wished to feel the warmth of her mother’s embrace
She wished her father could put smile on her face
She felt like nobody
Because there was nobody
She lived a life she never asked for
Saw happenings she never saw
Recommended
She went through tough times she could only imagine
And sometimes life puts her in-between
Circumstances turned her destiny around
She searched for love but none she found
She was a victim of situation she never wanted
By voices and pictures of her parent was she haunted
She gave up on hope
And reverted to the rope
My friend, Emily intended to leave
But it’s a miracle she still lives
She saw the end
But the end was a bend
Coming and going are seasons
But we should not give up for any reason
Though we lose those so dear
Your live should not end there
Don’t accept fate
Instead choose faith
These are the words of my friend, Emily
Who grew up with no family.
