The "So Many"

the-so-manny

So many “why” I have
So many trials I raid

So many “what” I seek
So many “not” I speak

So many “where” I have been to
So many “now” I forgot

So many “how” I have learned
So many "wows” I unearned

So many “bravos” I lost
So many “alas” I have won

So many “dreams” I have shattered
So many “pains” I blossomed

So many “words” I muted
So many “emotions” I have spoken

So many “poems” I have written
So many “melodies” I still preserve

So many “stories” I have read
So many “spectacles” still unplugged

So many “things” I have kept
Yet so many “secrets” I reserve

So many “hye” I have received
Yet one “bye” I still perceive

So many “who” I met
Yet the one “you” I have kept

So many “hearts” I have mended
Yet the “one” remains the broken

So many “lives” I have lived
Yet the “one” I still repeat

So many “vows” I have made
Yet the “one” remains unattained

So many “promises” I have fulfilled
Yet “your” is the one still broken

So many “deaths" I have seen
Yet the “one” is we all redeem!

Paul thanks alot for the appreciation and nops its not satirical its kind of melancholic. I am glad that you find it intriguing and even relating to it too. Thanks again for the comment.

I find your poem to be very original. I admire your creativity in this one. The poem is consistent from the first line to the last. I am just not sure if the tone of the poem is satirical but I felt a bit of melancholy while reading it...Maybe because my life relates to it.
