Silent Tears - A Poem About Dealing Depression
As I sit to my bed alone,
Emotions began to burst.
I couldn't hold it anymore,
Then tears began to fall.
I can now unleash my mask,
Letting all those hurts inside.
Letting my heart to weep over,
Letting my tears to fall freely.
Without drawing attention,
I whimper my cries so softly.
I'm always there for people,
Yet no one knows my agony.
People think I'm the bravest,
Yet I weep behind closed door.
People think I'm the happiest,
Yet I'm the loneliest when alone.
I always wear my smile to everyone,
Yet my heart is shattering in silence.
