The Pool in its profundity was serene,

Calm, peaceful ... like ascending Love.

Its glistening beauty held my gaze,

Freeing the mind from its earthly strife.

The translucent light of the scattering clouds,

Whispered softly to an enquiring Heart,

Delving deeper into this kiss of Light.

The sweet melody of starlings befriend me,

As the light winds and foliages hug my Spirit.

I look at the exquisitely knitted braids,

Of the girl in charmed offensive,

Tugging at her eloquence and allure.

Beneath a green canopy in the garden terrace,

I blow Love-bubbles from my soul,

To the ecology of this magnificent setting.

The sun's shimmering rays dance with the ripples;

My breath spins with a renewed energy,

Quickening the soul with its Delight.

-Manatita, The Lantern Carrier, 21st April, 2018.

Awakening The Inner Light.

Quote from the Master

"What is Joy, it is a bird

That we all want to catch.

It is the same bird

That we all love to see flying." -Sri Chinmoy

Wisdom-Quote from the Master

" True inner Joy is self-created.

It does not rely on any outer circumstances.

A river is flowing in and through you,

Carrying the message of Joy.

This Divine Joy, is the sole purpose of life." - Sri Chinmoy

      Dear Brother,

If my cognitive abilities should allow me to find the words and my spiritual awareness should grant me wisdom, then I will gladly analyze one of your brilliant works. I will pray about it. I will let Him guide me on which poem to study intently.

      Thank you.

      Sincerely,

      Tim

Beautiful picture and your lyrics make the pools seem even more beautiful. The "ecology of this magnificent setting" can provide hours of pleasant conversation.

Ha ha. I don't tell others that I know how to use the senses, but I do. Still, where I differ from some, is that I can create settings without seeing or being there.

Now I write a more direct style from being there, rather like my Battersea Park or Saturday Night's Train Station. Yes, I've done them, but I prefer the esoteric feel ... the mystical touches my Heart. Ha ha. Thank you so much, Bro.

I like how you included the verse about the woman. It seems to be more direct in recognizing feminine beauty than what I normally see in your poems. Not that you have ignored them in the past, but this is less metaphorical, more direct.

Yes, a magnificent setting that revitalizes the soul.

      Thanks Marlene.

You are very dear to me as usual. Continue the Faith

      Much Love.

Mistake, my brother Venkatachari M. I spelt your name wrong in Tim's comment. Some struggles with electronics. Love you Bro.

      Thank You, Tim.

I first stumbled upon your comments on Ioannis'Hub

You have a very noble Heart. If you have time, look up Shams 40 Rules on Love. It will help you. It is perhaps a half hours read but extremely meaningful.

My poems will be remembered. I just need to publish them. I am very happy for you to chose one and do an analysis like Sean and Venkarachari did. Thank you ... thank you. Gratitude.

Your poetry again brings beauty to the English language, Dear Manatita. Another moment to meditate on the magnificence of His Handiwork.

I read your poems thinking of Henry D. Thoreau, a great American writer who had an amazing talent for describing nature in such terms that it felt as if your were there, a welcomed visitor to the scene and with him at those moments. Your gift blesses us, and you are humble also.

May God continue to give you wisdom you share, and I look forward to reading your other poetry.

      Much respect,

      Much love,

      Thank you, brother.

      Thanks Frank.

A cool name even if I say so myself. Appreciations.

      Thanks Bill.

You work quite hard and so if I can serve in any way, then that's good.

      Eric,

Yes. Nature is so beautiful! Thank you.

Very nice. I cannot recall a time when I was too busy to notice nature. I know there are many. But I can remember with clarity those times I did stop and appreciate and be grateful.

You think too highly of me, Brother.

God has given me a creative mind and I ' m just using it, that's all.

Hope that you are all well. Thank you so much!

      Thanks again Li- Jen.

I am always happy to serve loving souls. The Love-bubbles are not related to the girl, but the 'charmed offensive', the ' elegance and allure' are. So happy that you are delighted. I bid you much peace.

Hello Manatita. Thank you so much for the soulful offering and for your time and effort in writing this poem! :) I was surprised to see my name show up! This is one of the best gifts I've ever received and I won't ask for more. Yes, your poem does represent the serenity of beauty with the natural flow of pool water in the sunlight. And yeah, I noticed how you described the girl and the other character who blew Love-bubbles in the garden setting. Cute description and nice scenery. Sri Chinmoy's quotes are clever. The video too. Thanks again! :)

My dear Brother, your ability to make beautiful, magical and lightful images, out of everything you see, means that the Eyes of your Soul are full of His Light. We are blessed to have you!

      Prayers for your noble work!
