The Rage of a Dark Trapped Soul
Jeff Zod enjoys classical poetry. He enjoys reading poetry from great historical poets as well as modern poets.
I am bitter, I am twisted out of shape with rage;
I rage at myself for being enraged.
I am trapped in this mortal cage,
My mind, body and soul the world has ravaged,
My soul is becoming dark and evil,
I can hear the beckoning of the devil.
I once dwelt in the Light of Pure Bliss.
Now, I am condemned to suffer in this merciless world.
I am in Sheol, the dark bottomless abyss.
I am a god, will I relinquish my soul for mere gold?
