The Oracle Eventually Broken
I like adding life to lifeless lives that is why I cannot do without creative writing, because it is a way of touching some hopeless lives
1. When oracle is speaking
Everywhere becomes silent, when
His pauses would make
A Drop of pin
Heard loud and clear
2. After oracle finishes speaking
No one talks again
Not even a question
Could be raised that
Is the end of the meeting
3. Everyone rises to go
To their respective places
Whether you are contented
Or nay with his sayings
Or decisions matter not to him
4. He was the most
Dreaded person in the
Land because he wields
Much power among people
And many of the outsiders know him
5. He was nick-named
Oracle because when the
Founding fathers of the
Land were departing, they
Gave him keys to them
6. So that when encountered
Any hiccups as per
Running the land he
Should use the key
To unlock the door to ‘em
7. On seeing movements at
Door, the unseen doors
They promised to arise
And offer him solution
To whatever it is that’s the problem
8. Founding fathers were four
For they were said
To be of other
Color thence called albinos
By many old people in the land
9. They were assumed to
Have disappeared for their
Bodies wert neither seen
Nor could their tombs
Be pointed to by anyone
10. They wield so much
Power during their days
By which they protect
Land from enemies and
Established land in the area.
11. Not as if they
All departed once but
One after another in
Mysterious circumstances did they
Left this world of turmoil
12. Each of them has
Different power which they
Combine for effective use
And while leaving they
Have called him to a side
13. The last one was
Assumed to have handed
Over all the four
Keys to him and
Instructed him of its usage
14. A key would not
Operate without the other
Three, that was the
Circulated theorem and having
Known that, none raise tongue against him
15. None talked against his
Leadership style though at
The initial he started
Well, for he started
On a compassionate level
16. As the founding fathers
Were compassionate so was
He on the grounds
Building on the ideals
Of those ancient warriors
17. But when his first
Child who was a
Female grew he erred
In judgement and exalted
His daughter above all
18. When his daughter did
Something despicable and wrong
He would hide under
A person to cover her
Misdeeds up punishing those without people
19. People started to groan
Under his leadership style
But since none has
The four keys nothing
Could be done to usurp him
20. Their continued groaning were
Soon heard by the
Superior One, who overruled
The usage of keys
Putting miry clay before his paths
21. He walked into the
Miry clay and plunged
Into the deepest realm
The usage of keys
Couldn’t save him except people
22. Those he has wronged
Looked and laughed him
To scorn, that Superior
One knows the best
Way of handling terrible people
23. He was reduced to
Nothing before them yet
The land continued to
Exist, by the time
He would leave the position
24. Things have changed, when
He speaks, people talk
Countered him. He felt
The humiliation was much
And he thinks death preferred
25. One day he was
Found in his room
Lying lifeless on the
Ground as he has
Gone to the world beyond.
26. The acclaimed Oracle was
Finally broken, his children
Were not to be
Referenced again in the
Land for they ‘ve had enough.

You will be healed soon. I am sure. Time is a great healer, people say and I have experienced it.

Olusegen I will read them. I do not work. My problem is concentration. I won't read unless I can fully concentrate. I just got my computer working March of this year 2020. It was down since May of 2019. I understand the frustration you feel. I have a problem concentrating caused by the stress of being hacked. I am not fully healed yet.

Okay, Okay. I will Thanks for that.
Business would not allow you to read much a day. As for me, it is electricity and data in Nigeria that prevent me from reading more and more and writing more and more here...

I want to read them all. But it takes a long time to read . I read a few a day. Keep on writing.
