The Omnipresent and the infinite — You are never alone!

Another day of suffering, and I survived,

I could feel your comforting hands on my head,

But again, I could not see you anywhere,

And those trying days and months,

Those never ending, miserable moments,

When I cried all alone, in that dark room,

Then I could hear you whispering to me,

‘Stand up and restart, wipe your tears, and stay strong,’

But yet again, I could not see you anywhere.

I search for you, among rivers and mountains,

Among deserts, plains and gardens,

But you are nowhere to be seen.

Perhaps you are within my heart and soul,

You can never leave me alone, in joys and sorrows.

I find my strength from within— from you,

From the flowers, who wear your smile,

From the vast spread Sky, which makes me feel,

I am under your roof of protection,

Perhaps you are everywhere,

As far as I can see and beyond,

You can never leave me alone, in joys and sorrows,

You are Omnipresent, You are infinite!

God protects us everywhere

" Perhaps you are within my heart and soul / I find my strength from within— from you." These lines are my favorite, but the entire poem is beautiful and inspirational.

Sweet words of comfort, knowing we have a shoulder to lean upon, someone always to be there when we need Him. Your poem captures that feeling so beautifully.

Thanks Mary for your kind visit and comments!

Yes, there is an unseen and supreme force. We may call that by different names, but all of us feel, it’s there. Sometimes to protect us, at other times to test us. At times, I feel it is our own subconscious mind.

Thank you for appreciating the poem!

Thank you Ericdierker for sharing your thoughts!

It happens with most of us—whether in pain or pleasure, we always think of him. And I share everything with him, without any inhibitions, because I understand that He knows it all.

Thanks for your kind visit and comments! Truly appreciated!

This is beautiful. Whether we believe it is God, or another unseen force of the universe it's comforting to know that were not alone.

Every now again I go all crazy and distance myself from God. Hard stressful bad times. And it is so silly.

I am never alone to eternity.

      Thanks for sparking this reflection.

Thank you so much Isabella Allred !

You said it beautifully and I fully agree with you. I can feel the Supreme force around me, especially whenever I am in deep trouble. It seems that someone always makes me stand again, when I am totally devastated. Yes, that supreme power is always there to protect us, to celebrate with us in times of joy, to hold our hands in difficult times.

      Thanks for your beautiful feedback!
