I have stumbled across a new passion: writing. It is proving to be insightful and rewarding.
Do you ever thank sleep for her rejuvenating power?
Do you fall asleep grateful for your sleep?
Has sleep ever touched your cheek?
Have you ever touched the face of sleep?
Are you pleased with your day’s activities?
Do you slumber with a clear conscience?
The angels of repose stand over you as you rest.
Your dreams will take you into the solar system and past time itself.
Be reminded that once you were an infant.
Travel back to the darkness of the womb, a time of warmth and growth.
Ask the sleeping child if they remember the womb.
What would they convey to us?
Would they tell us of the dreams they had?
What did their dreams tell them?
Did angels visit them to prepare them for another voyage?
A great voyage into the reality of the present moment?
Only the cherubs know what infants dream.
They protect and pray for them as they sleep.
So slumber little one and float among the clouds.
The night time will brighten your dreams with a million stars.
Know that you are loved, will be loved, and will always be loved.
A wonderful world will be waiting at the end of your dreams.
Be assured that when you doze you’ll wake to a beautiful tomorrow.
So follow the stars and the star light will guide you home.

Brenda, Thank you for your sweet comment. I certainly wish I felt refreshed every time I got up in the morning, too.. I guess when we do we should thank our 'lucky stars'. LOL Take care!

This poem is nice about our journey in sleep.
There are times I welcome sleep. Then there are times I wake up feeling very refreshed after sleeping.
I wish it were that way all the time.
