The Last Dance

Tomaz is a 20 years old medical student from Slovenia, who loves to write about everything and tries to make the world a better place.

I watch you dance
I admire the movement
of your perfect body at the rhythms
of lively music from the distance

in this dance I see life
life we could have together
events take place in it
which would bring us luck

my look stops
at your beautiful brown eyes
and does not withdraw from them anymore
because it realizes the incomparable beauty

I slowly make a decisive step
confidently approach closer
with your hand in mne, I quietly discharge myself
"May I have this dance?"

Thank you! I truly appreciate your opinion on this poem. It is a bit challenging for me to write in foreign language, but it turns out okay I guess. My vocabulary definitely need improvement and I am trying to get there. Thank you again and have a wonderful day tourself as well!

I am honored to place this first comment upon your hub. What you expressed wonderfully I thought about many times. Instead my next thought was she might say no so I never got up to ask her in fear of rejection. Keep up the wonderful poems. The skill and the talent is all yours to develop in any way you choose. Thank you for leading me to your works. Have a wonderful day.
