Wisdom from the Master
"Life's perfection-road is very long,
But the journey is richly rewarding." - Sri Chinmoy
"The determination in your heroic effort,
Will permeate Your mind and Heart
Long after your success or failure, has
Long since, been forgotten." - Sri Chinmoy
You must make this journey alone. No one else can do this for you
The Journey
The magenta leaves cascade and fall
With the seasons. The tree loses its
Lustre and seem to die, only to rise next
Autumn, even more beautiful than before.
Propelled by desires, I, a wayfarer, like
The tree, spins on an endless wheel of
Cause and effect, rising and falling like waves,
Until Grace, in its mercy, frees me from my plight.
Trapped in a womb carved out in shadows,
I’m held in chains of my own volition. My
Impediments are numerous. Ego fuels
My wrath like Salome’s did to Herod,
Using allure for the profits of passion.
Like flies caught in a mesh, the sweet veil of
Attachments binds me to wanton greed;
Insecurity stabs me like a naked sword.
The road ahead
I was once the Flute Player, not the flute. My Beloved
Longed to enjoy Its own game, shaping me out of formlessness;
I became a sojourner, in separation from my Source.
Involution beckoned me in the glint of rocks,
Until I was summoned into the plant kingdom,
Itself heralding the instinct of the higher animal realm.
After what seemed like millennia, I rose again a human –
A mariner on a golden boat, battling the winds to return Home.
Tossed by strong tides in a penury of darkness;
My cravings, like thorns, were shattered against the
Merciless rocks. I felt a ray of hope, like a distant
Lighthouse, coming to my rescue to guide me inwards.
Now I rejoice in the Bliss of infinitude –the
Pure land of ‘no name’, no place’, just Emptiness.
I’m at the summit of the mountain, steeped
In the serenity of celestial reverence, with Love,
The ultimate GPS, now flooding the Citadel of my soul.
Finally, I look over the mountains, to the neophytes below.
I hope to become a Boddhisatva, to be their awakened guide.

There's a God-hour for all things. This includes 'calling.' - Manatita

Create within you the feeling of acceptance
