The Greatest Fraudster Show on Earth

Heather has a Bachelor's Degree in English from Moravian College and has been freelance writing for more than 13 years.

Pretending to be an active part of human race

The game show that never ends and the prize

Only turns out to be getting through the day

With your sanity and a carton of eggs relatively intact

Raising your hand in class the appropriate number of times

Letting the teacher know that you're still amongst the living

Cheering along with the huddled masses at Football games

Freezing on the cold and uncomfortable metal bleachers

Wondering when half time will come in order to sneak out

Before your butt sticks to the bleachers for good

With the wad of Wrigley's that was left behind after the last game

A participant in the never-ending tournament of life

But never fully connected to it in the way that counts

Going through the motions to keep friends and loved ones happy

Head and body seem to be in two different dimensions

Want to feel real human emotions and physical pleasures

Sadly, they seem to be lost in Customs for medical reasons

Known only to the brain, which has been kept encrypted

Preventing any hackers from swiping the private information

Numb to the next step of getting back to some semblance of normalcy

Temporarily glad for some level of calm after the last internal hurricane

Eager now to restore the individual mainframe back to its former glory

Unfortunately, will have to start rebuilding from scratch

Last virus wiped away all of the pertinent data

Collating all of the facts, figures and feelings one slow step at a time

Rome wasn't built in a day, and neither will this new program.

Blending in with the rest of the huddled masses.

Blending in with the rest of the huddled masses.
