The Gods

Poetry

A poem. Poems are beyond words. Yet, they need words. How shall I describe?

the-gods

Poem: The Gods

Seasons change, but not the Gods.
Or, so it might be said.
The times can be divided by a positive numeric value.
However, can the Devas be divided even by 0?

The implication is para; parapowerful.
Who am I that I could question the Risen?
Is not a part of me the future vessel for the Gods?

What of the gods and the Gods?
When does an angel become Exalted?
Seasons may change, though not the Gods.
Or, so it could be stated.

Gypsy Rose Lee,

Thank you for your positive appreciation. :)

Wonderful poetry. I do believe among the gods are muses that keep poets inspired.

Eric Dierker,

I am also very Christian. And, I do not understand everything; but I understand that God loves his children. (see 1 Nephi 11:17)

Thanks for liking it. ^_^

It is indeed!

Elijah A Alexander Jr,

I hope your pains go away.

I'm sorry you had computer concerns.

Elijah A Alexander Jr from Washington DC on September 09, 2019:

I have been well, Alexander, except for the pains that comes with age most people expect in their 70s. Thanks for inquiring.

My computer was barely functioning fro, early June until early August so once I got it functioning a lot of things in my mailbox just got deleted after I looked at the subjects. It would have taken too long to fro backs and forth got see if I wanted to read them all. A lots I may have wanted to read, I'm sure with out without it.

Eric Dierker from Spring Valley, CA. U.S.A. on September 09, 2019:

Beautiful. I am what one my call very Christian. And some how I understand that in some way through the Trinity we are all gods.

I really liked this -- thank you.

Poetry is a life blood for the gods.

Elijah A Alexander Jr,

Everything is in constant fluctuation. How have you been lately?

Elijah A Alexander Jr from Washington DC on September 09, 2019:

Alexander, During my quest to understand life I've found "the only thing that doesn't change is change itself" and the reason is because the motion of change maintains everything else. With that finding if God doesn't change then God is change. That is my take on it.

John Hansen from Queensland Australia on September 09, 2019:

You certainly can, Cheryl. Just take a look at Letterpile and you will find lots of poetry.

Cheryl E Preston from Roanoke on September 09, 2019:

This is good. I did not know we could write poetry for Hubpages.

Alexander James Guckenberger (author) from Maryland, United States of America on September 08, 2019:

John Hansen,

I love your take on this topic!

John Hansen from Queensland Australia on September 08, 2019:

I like this poem, Alexander. Poems and Gods are much alike then....both beyond words but need words to make them powerful.
