The Glories of Love. Sunday's Inspiration 27, to Endy Noble

Manatita is an esteemed author living in London, UK. He writes spiritual books, flash fiction and esoteric poetry, his favourite genre.

Wisdom from the Master

"Courage to Love,

Is the only way,

To become truly happy." - Sri Chinmoy

The Glories of Love

Dawn has emerged; a new spectrum

Of rainbows, awaken in my Heart.

Welcoming the moment, is a shimmering

Sunrise, sharing its rays with the golden morn.

Heralding the splendour of sunset, the

Light zephyrs ascend the horizon, feeding

My soul with the breeze of solitude, nursing

My joys with their whispering silence.

The seeds of benevolence ‘rise from a

Soil, offering blossoms to my Heart’s Temple.

I respond like one drunk with perennial freedom,

Soar like an eagle to heavenly spheres.

Love rejoices for one and burns in another.

Magenta glows on autumnal leaves; yet

Stars are no use to the blind or foolish.

There may not be prestige in homelessness,

But rough ways, shaped the Light of my Spirit.

Nefertiti belonged to the Emperor, so

Men felt only the cry of their hearts.

Outer demise neither touch nor convey,

The innermost sweetness of rhapsody,

For it’s hidden in the beauty of hyacinths,

While marigolds dance, exceedingly well.

Can you hear the songs of the nightingales?

The tulips at daybreak call: “Come! Come!”

Jasmines and lavenders enchant us with wafts,

Yet all pay obeisance, to the glories of Love.

-The Lantern Carrier. 23rd January, 2021

Sometimes (Three)

Sometimes the breath ceases, for Love has consumed

Me so much, that I see only the trails of flying. My wings

Are golden, I’m on Your lap and nothing else matters.

Stroke my hair. Go on! Tell the snow-white Dahlias

That we’ve blended together like rainbows, our colours

Mixed with such intensity, they’ve become flames of Light.

My Heart weeps with the agony of silent Joy, You filling

My vessel, like water does a reservoir. Only I rise, a kite

Perhaps, swaying at Your command, yet dancing with the heavens.

Sometimes, You pervade the stillness of my dreams.

You touch my head; I experience the state of deathless

Bliss, so real to me, that my soul still pranams on waking.

My Heart sings with the symphony of starlings,

Offering my self to the glories of creation.

There's only one thing that is, was and ever shall be, and that is Love.

The Love that creates, the Love that nourishes and the Love that sustains God's universe." - Sri Chinmoy

Thank you, Peggy. We are actually here to manifest or glorify a Higher Light. The Creation is a projection of the Absolute. This game of Light and darkness is necessary for the soul's growth ... its way back to the Godhead, if you life. But yes, Love is pulling the strings to get the 'work' done. Chuckle. Thank you so much!

Peggy Woods from Houston, Texas on January 24, 2021:

I loved the message that we are born into this world to love. You have spread the good words of love today, and I thank you for that.

But rough ways, shaped the Light of my Spirit."
