The Gaze of Light

Amidst the despair and the scars of

Desires, the Light continually enters.

She speaks in the fragrance of roses --

Like a mother's pure-white sacrifice, whispering

Of concern, charm and grandeur, of a self-

Transcending fortitude; the radiance of the soul.

The gaze of Her glisten transfixes me.

I'm intoxicated, like one drunk with wine,

The vintage for which only Jannah can distil.

My breath pleads in the serene vastness,

Asking my Empress, to grant Her children Solitude.

Whene'er I'm lost in emptiness;

Love carries me in its fullness.

I seek Her unknowingly,

In the iridescent beauty of moonlight;

The innocent dance of daffodils.

Zephyrs blow wherever they wish,

But my Love is always with me--

Sweet wafts in the miracle of flowers;

Singing in the sanctum of my Heart.

O Light, my Light, the flora of my Essence

Calls! Send me the quintessence of lavenders,

To fill this sacred tavern, with the scent of Your Bliss.

My Beloved came –a sweet serenity of cosmic Light,

Adorned in the robes of colourful flames. Soaring with

Me like a phoenix, we flew to the vastness of infinitude.

Indeed!

You and I affect the world by the vibrations that we offer to it.

The basics of Yoga is that change begins within. Thank you so much EK!

What a great write!

Light us with us everyday, comforting us and giving us a feeling of peace even to our day's end.

Beautiful!

The love both quotes too, but my favorite is to not let the light go dim....to let it shine.

Thanks for sharing these words of wisdom.

Thank you. Here we have a lot of light, but no sun in London. Not yet. You're lucky. You should be healthy and well. Haha. Thank you so much!!

We get amazing sunsets here in Burnham. The light across the water and the shades from sea to sky are stunning. Those are my favourites.

I like the Buddha 'wisdom' quote.
