The Fox That Betrayed The Wolf
I have been writing poetry, fiction and short stories for many years and have completed a book of poems. I also enjoy comedy writing.
Once upon a time in a land far far away
Lived a great wolf called Wakeem
This great dark wolf was the leader of the land
And guarded it like the great Aslan
He was a magical beast that had the spirit of the forest within
But from conception the sly old fox wanted to rid of him
Wakeem the wolf had many great enemies that wanted him dead
So evil on the land of the good could be spread
They devised a simple scheme that involved the red devil fox
So they could get Wakeem in the death box
The plan had been made and now it was time to execute
The fox which the wolves homed simply did not tell the truth
He told wakeem that a great war was coming from the Crocs of the east
And that their army was magnificent and they would kill every beast
Wakeem did not have an army as powerful as theirs
So he told the fox to go get the magical mares
They would fly all the beast away from the battle
So not even a rat’s tail would rattle
The fox told rakeem to come quickly as the mares have disappeared
But when Wakeem went to look only the enemy appeared
The Crocs threw 30 gold pieces at the fox for a betrayal well done
He picked up the dirt gold and began to run
The Crocs circled Wakeem to take his life
Some with spears and some with knife
But Wakeem had a little surprise for them
He howled and instantly appeared his wolf friends
The leader of the crocs who wanted to slew Wakeem had been vanquished
And soon the crocs diabolical kingdom demolished
The red fox was found cowering clutching on to his gold
And was banished from the land forever into the blistering cold
Now the land was free from evil again
And Wakeem reigned supreme

Good over evil wins out, but not ever time. I like your stories, and I like the names you give your characters. Another good one...
