The Food Poem

At any time I will walk down this street

Simply because I like to eat

There are many restaurants along this stretch

Froom cool smoothies to hot chillies to make your eyes wept

Right now I crave for a juicy burger with bacon and barbecue sauce

I would gobble that baby down, eating it all off

Jerk pork belly with mash potatoes and greens

Would certainly make my palette please

I can’t pass up a mango pie topped with pineapple slices

Give me a little Jamaican jerk chicken packed with spices

I love Chinese food, so i ate a bowl of sweet and sour chicken with fried rice

I licked all fingers as that meal was extra nice

Oxtail and beans are one of my favourite dish

Recommended

Later I think I will have an ice cold beer and a Danish

Birds make tasty meals, so give me a little duck in curry sauce

Roasted too, I will eat that all off.

Baby back ribs are a succulent treat

Not to mention the irresistible Mac and Cheese

Give me a well done slice Fiorentina Steak

Succulent enough to make my heart break

I like a little sweet if I may

Right now I am having Chocolate soufflé

Sometimes I keep thing simple, but with a little twist

That’s why I massacre spicy fried chicken and chips

On some days a hot dog and a soda will do

Right now I am so hungry, I don't know what to chew.
