The Endurance of Time's Essence

I have stumbled across a new passion: writing. It is proving to be insightful and rewarding.

Personality doesn’t match behavior.
Behavior doesn’t match personality.
Thought patterns don’t match demeanor.
Personality doesn’t match thought patterns.

Nothing equals balance anymore.
Balance is without nothing and then some.
Consistent change without infinity equals eternity.
Nothing is consistent in time and the clocks all lie.

Times past have passed by the present into the future where time stands still until it happens. Into past times does the present moment continue on.
Memories. Morals. Memorials. Moments.
Be aware of this moment’s time, stand still and remember.

Well, that made me think carefully! I had to read it a few times.

A great piece to get us going and think about how we go through and react to time. I've just read Linda's piece about Mysteries of Time and Memories and the two go well together! What a coincidence!

Hey Brenda! I wrote this off the top of my head. It's like it came from else where, not my thoughts, but another consciousness. I'm glad you could follow it. Take care.

Thank you, Dora! I've had that happen a time or two. LOL I appreciate your input.

It is so easy to lose track of time, and for our thoughts to go haywire. I appreciate your call to sanity: stand still and remember.

BRENDA ARLEDGE from Washington Court House on January 07, 2021:

Moments do stand still from the past as we mortalize them in our thoughts.

I love this line

Nothing is consistent in time and the clocks all lie.

In the times we are dealing with nothing seems to stay consistent & our thought patterns seem to be jumping all over the place.

Take care.
