Rise and Move!

I looked into the enormous abysses of earth and sky
Saw the end with my eyes and in my imagination.
But, Aaah! I reached the depths of my soul,
And bent for a while, both my heart and eyes were disturbed:
So dark and so deep!

In my imagination, I saw a violin,
Placed in a dark corner visible from the living room,
The violinist entered the room and performed her art,
The music was soothing, but the room was so dark.

What a beautiful song she played with those strings!
Like birds dozing on the branches of trees!
The surrounding air's hidden crystals: pulsed and blazed;
The sky changed to golden rays, and the ground trembled with joy.

There was a chorus of kisses, and
Flapping wings swayed in the breezes of music;
What exactly was happening? My eyes were closing.
Love was coming!

And the moment I awake, I questioned myself
Oh, how often do we dwell in our souls' depths,
And ask questions like: 'Why and How?'
How frequently does our inner voice tell us: "Rise and Move"?

The most beautiful people we have known are those who have known defeat, known suffering, known struggle, known loss, and have found their way out of those depths.
