Poem - The Angel in Class
Elena is a Teacher who works in the Adult Learning Sector - London
He was the best teen student.
Ticked all boxes - future President?
But did something naughty - big mistake!
His reputation, now at stake.
.
The students reported him to me,
but faults with this Angel, I couldn't see.
I told the class confidently,
the best student wasn't guilty!
Guilt set in and he later confessed.
Suddenly, one felt immensely depressed.
I apologised to the class, awaiting my fate.
"It's ok Miss" they smiled, "just buy us chocolate."
Written by Elena.

True Story
True story. I encourage teens to have such a good reputation in life, that people will not be quick to believe any bad stories about them. Not only that, when great opportunities arise, their names will be put forward first by bosses etc.
As for for any Angels who walk into my class, I keep an eye on their halos!

Elena, I'm sure that your students appreciate your confidence in them. Hopefully, it will be the exception when they're guilty. Good poem.

Hello Elena, it's good to see you writing again. I liked your poem. I think we are prone to think the ' angels ' can do no harm, but we soon learn we are all human. Take care.
