The Afterlife Attraction: A Thought Provoking Poem
Believing in something like an Ultimate Intelligence
that hides behind all the vast universal creation
certainly is making a lot of reasonable sense
but without added religious indoctrination.
To every logical mind it's really hard to digest
though easy to grasp free range of believing
since humans have this need in their chest
to create an alternate truth, one deceiving.
Well, it is about this unfortunate existential fear
gravitating all around this imminence of dying
thus belief in afterlife comes little more clear
making all religious racket look satisfying.
Let's face it, folks, no one ever came back
so until we get some evidence we can trust
the salvation logicalness seems out of whack
calling for our existential wisdom to little adjust.
Between suicide bomber's belief in afterlife rewards
and any other believer in his faithful soul's salvation
there is no difference according to any at all records
of some mortal ass reappearing as his reincarnation.
Personally, I also believe that we don't die
but not by far the way religions may explain
it's biocetrism's definition of life that I may buy
and as for other theorisms I opt for staying sane.
My belief has no base in that fear
to me it's actually an intuitive trip
though life is precious and dear
it's all way out of a logical grip.
