Aren loves to write poems. Her muse is usually nature , but it can also be anything that inspires her.
Life is full of suffering. That sentence is a cliche but it is the sad truth. Our journey in this world is not filled with rainbows and unicorns all the time, but instead with rain and thunderstorms. Sometimes, it becomes so dark that we think our life is like the night without the light of the moon and the stars. We are sometimes lost in that darkness that we are not sure if the day will ever come. The day does come somehow, but first, we need someone who can guide us through the dark. In this poem, that Star is the one I believe that will guide me.
And after you have suffered a little while, the God of all grace, who has called you to his eternal glory in Christ, will himself restore, confirm, strengthen, and establish you.
— 1 Peter 5:10
Who is that star? That Star is the only light in the dark. He is our hope. He is always there waiting for us to come to Him; to pray to Him; to ask Him for help. He does not promise to automatically save us from troubles, but He does promise us that He will be there in the middle of it – guiding us and accompanying us until we are finally free from the clutches of our problems. He is God.
That Star: A Poem
I used to walk this path of darkness
Used to think I am nothing, I am hopeless
It’s better to be still than to break apart
Better than breaking my heart
Used to be the weeds in this garden,
Used to stare flowers climbing up the heavens,
Lifting up my leaves, my soul, my aching heart
Wishing to reach that afar
Wishing on that Star
I will ride this ride full of light
Then I’ll close my eyes
And pray you will be by my side
There are times when
This night will be filled with pain
But that Star up on the sky
Will always be my guide
Seeking the warm face of success
Longing for its embrace
To reach the peak
Is my lifelong quest
In my heart, hopes penetrate
Every step I take shows off courage
This night will be through
Soon then my dreams will come true
May the God of hope fill you with all joy and peace in believing, so that by the power of the Holy Spirit you may abound in hope.

Wishing upon a star & letting it guide your path.
The journey may have pain along the way, but you will succeed.
This poem is full of hope.
