That Small Frail Thing
Like the owls, her soul roams at night
And dreams like vermin, haunts every corner of her heart
The coming days never fail to sow seeds of fright
The path was dark in this moonless night.
The sorrow in her eyes, cannot quench the ever thirsty stars
And when they're gone, the black velvet sky made jewels from her eyes
The sun gave her roses bedewed with blood
Strings of light dies with her touch
The rain were shards of glass, piercing through her skin
The nightmares never stop inflicting pain
The place she knew is getting lost
Along with treasures she loved the most
The darkness kept blinding her mind
And with all the foul ghosts lurking around
They summoned her to kill that small frail thing
Though she can't, for it was her everything
