The Beach of Nostalgia
That innocent face
That sweet voice
That beautiful style
That charming smile
Everything I had
Time made them to fade
When I stand at the beach of my imagination
Where the time is a vast ocean
The waves are the seconds, days, months and years
These have gathered the sands of happiness and tears
I walk on these
Looking for the pearls of your memories
When I see something shiny
I dig eagerly just to discover the irony
It is not the pearl in the sands hidden
It is my smiling portrait taken, frozen and broken.
